Established in 2017, Maul’s owners Andy and Ellen created their hospitality idea after getting inspiration from the cheese board and delicious Montepulciano wine they enjoyed on their first date. From there, their love affair with wine and cheese grew, and the rest as they say, is history.

With over 10,000 fairy lights illuminating our late 15th century-built building, Maul’s is the ideal venue to enjoy an artisan slate of cheese and charcuterie alongside a glass of the best wine in the city.

Salisbury Socials Bookclub

First Tuesday of the month: 7:00pm - 9:00pm

Come join the Salisbury Social group On the first Tuesday of every month for the Salisbury Social Book Club.

An informal, friendly bunch who meet and chat about their book of the month, drink wine and eat cheese.

Book genres vary each month with an aim to find books that most will enjoy reading.

Blue Pumpkin Studio Calligraphy

Second Tuesday of the month: 6:00pm - 8:30pm

Come join Tamsin and master modern calligraphy.

These workshops are perfect for anyone wanting to learn how to use traditional pen and ink with a contemporary flourish.

At a Beginners workshop we will go through the pen stroke basics before working through each letter form and learning how to join it all together to create words in your own modern italic script.

One glass of red/white wine or a soft drink alternative is included in the price.

Crochet Workshop with Sam Ford

Second Wednesday of the month, 6:00pm - 8.30pm

Come and learn how to create a crocheted granny square. No experience necessary!

Sam will take you through the steps of a treble stitch and how to use this to make a granny square.

Once you've mastered this, and you will, you will move on to changing colour and then on to how to start your own square using a magic ring.

You will be able to choose two balls of coloured yarn to work with and will leave with these and the materials needed to continue your crochet journey!

Minimum age 18 years old.
